Himmel
Und Hölle

Following the protagonists of the international aggregator art scene, the periodical examines their often innovative exhibition strategies, artistic forms, neo-medieval sensibilities and post-apocalyptic moods, situating these practices and narratives within a broader aesthetic, social and technological landscape — at the dawn of the Night era. Loosely echoing Graham Harman’s flat ontology, the publication adopts a deliberately non-hierarchical approach to its subjects, moving freely between contemporary art, art history and theory, game studies, ecology, medicine, social and political issues, migration studies, the green economy and other fields of inquiry.
